The restroom and shower area was so hot. Couldnt wait to get of there.

This KOA is in a great location. The facilities are older, like almost all KOAs, but the hosts are truly 5 star worthy. The activities they have for kids and their general attentiveness are both top notch. We truly enjoyed our time here. A few tips if you are considering coming. They have a great little store that is well supplied with the essentials. Be mindful of your site selection as the first two rows near the river have no septic (typical when on the water) but those along the water are really great. If you have kids l, do a project in the art shed - it's great. Great fishing and hiking right from the campground and many camp sites. Mind your awnings here. Wind picks up suddenly down the river and can do damage if your awning isn't sturdy. All in all we reccomend this campground. Great location, plenty to do and terrific hosts.

We absolutely love the Cotopaxi KOA. The office staff are wonderful, and were helpful, even with our inconvenient special requests. We've now been there three times, and each time, our campsite is well maintained and incredibly clean. Personally, we are partial to the deluxe tent sites as they are closer to the river and a little more private. In some campgrounds, bathrooms are sketchy, but here, they are very clean and well-maintained. My dogs love the dog park, and there is a nice pool (which we haven't used) and a playground. Personal tip, especially in late summer and early fall, buy river tubes before you go and tube the river. We had a blast!

Site 500 is the best. Sites 501- 503 are all to close to each other. There is No shade. 501 tent area is way to small and the gravel is so uneven ...you sleep in a slant ...stairs down to the tent site was another issue. That is not listed on their web page. The people where very nice ...

It was nice ...a bit out there. But the drive and views are worth it

This place was absolutely gorgeous and the owner did everything he could to make our stay more comfortable! This was our first time with KOA and they have absolutely won me over. Great for tent camping, they also have a large number of cabins and rv spots! There's hiking trails in any direction you want to go, and the river can be heard from anywhere in the camp. 5/5!

Great place to stay, even has small hotel, cabins right on the river! New friendly hosts, and the place looks great. They added some new tent sites right on the river. Good place for pets and kids, cause you can walk right onto the National Forest. No internet, but hopefully soon!
